In the film, celebrated magician Wei Ling Soo, who in real life is Stanley Crawford (Firth), a grouchy and arrogant Englishman, is persuaded to go to the Côte d’Azur to debunk the alluring young clairvoyant Sophie Baker (Stone) who is staying there with her mother.2. KLEZMER IN SAFEDThe largest Jewish music festival in the world features contemporary and classical hassidic, soul and Israeli music. MIXED: MAKING A SPLASHThe TLV Water Show, a spectacle of water fountains, music and lights, opens at the Tel Aviv Port this week and will be shown free of charge every evening until the end of August. Both had traveled far from home with the hope of being offered a spot at the Juilliard School. The dance piece Notes to Pina Bausch by the Rina Schenfeld Dance Theater is based on the close relationship that developed between the two over the years and is a tribute to Bausch, who was one of the most prominent and influential creators in the world of modern dance.Tonight at 9, Suzanne Dellal Center, Tel Aviv7.
