Extreme-right to Arabs in Israel: ‘We can solve all your problems’

Israeli right-wing activist Michael Ben-Ari from Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) released a video in which he speaks in Arabic and invites the Arab inhabits of Lod to attend a conference that will deal with “deporting enemies” and peace.The conference is to take place on Monday in Gandi park in Lod and has already gotten the attention of the Coalition Against Racism in Israel. The coalition denounces what they describe as the ‘’silence” of the law enforcement community in the face of this event and warns that such talk would “drag us all into the dark abyss.”Ben-Ari is well known as an attention grabbing politician with fiercely right-wing views. In the past he invited Sudanese migrant workers into the Gordon swimming pool in Tel Aviv to, in his opinion, show how the affluent part of Tel Aviv is just as uneasy with the arrival of migrant workers as the southern part of the city. He also mimicked the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan) in Ramat Aviv, a well to do section of Tel Aviv, to “connect the Tel-Avivians to what the people of Israel are going through.”
