One of the largest sailing yachts in the world docked Friday morning in the Haifa port, where it will be docked for a few days. The yacht docked close to the pier, near the passenger terminal, where buffers were placed between the boat and the dock because it wasn't built to hold such massive sea vehicles.

The yacht is more than 468 ft. long. It is owned by Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, whose net worth is estimated to be over $13 billion. He bought the yacht for 360 million pounds.

"It is the third mega-yacht that has docked in the Haifa port in the past few months. We're seeing a growing demand for a mega-yachts dock at the port. We're looking to make a mega-yacht dock permanent," the CEO of Haifa Port Company said.
