Another great achievement for Israel’s Pezaro in the pool
It was the 21st medal in the illustrious career of the 31-year-old Israeli swimmer.

After winning the 200-meter freestyle gold medal at the European Paralympic Championships in Dublin, Israeli swimmer Inbal Pezaro continued to bring great honor to blue-and-white sports when she finished third in the 200 meters mixed race on Tuesday.The Israeli swimmer finished just ahead of Julia Gerti and stopped the clock at 3:38.79 minutes, enough for the bronze medal. Pezaro participated in a mixed race for various degrees of disability, while among the participants in the degree of disability of the Israeli swimmer (Class 5), she finished third.It was the 21st medal in the illustrious career of the 31-year-old Israeli swimmer.She took part at the 2004 Summer Paralympics and the 2008 Summer Paralympics. Pezaro won a silver medal on the opening day of the 2008 Beijing Paralympics after coming in second place in the 100-meter freestyle competition. She set a new Israeli record with 1:12.57 minutes. Pezaro claimed her second medal, finishing second in the 200 meters freestyle S5 competition. Pezaro took silver in the women’s 100 breast SB4, giving her a third silver medal of the Beijing Paralympics.She won a bronze medal in the 2016 Rio Paralympics 200 meter freestyle.
