With everything of significance already decided entering the final weekend of Premier League action, teams are squarely focused on their preparations for 2015/16.Maccabi Haifa hosts Ironi Kiryat Shmona on Saturday while Beitar Jerusalem visits Hapoel Beersheba. The season will officially come to a close on Monday night when champion Maccabi Tel Aviv welcomes Maccabi Petah Tikva.Haifa just wants to forget about this season as soon as possible, especially after it also lost all hope of qualifying for European competition earlier this week.New coach Roni Levy hasn’t officially started his job at the club, but he is already busy building the team’s squad for 2015/16. Levy met with Kiryat Shmona midfielder Roei Kehat this week in an attempt to lure him to the club.However, the 23-year-old rising star is set to turn down the offers from Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv in favor of the opportunity to move to Europe and play for Austria Vienna.Beitar wrapped up fourth place and a Europa League berth for next season with Monday’s 3-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.The prospect of continental soccer could prove to be the decisive factor in owner Eli Tabib’s decision regarding his future at the club. Tabib is expected to meet mayor Nir Barkat on Sunday and reveal his plans in a press conference next week.
