Almost three and a half years after Yael Weissman went through the horrendous ordeal of losing her husband in a West Bank terror attack, she announced this past week that she is engaged to be married.“You have overcome everything with me,” Weissman wrote on Facebook, publicizing her engagement to Roi Arieli.Weissman was widowed three-and-a-half years ago when her then-husband, St.-Sgt. Tuviya Yanai Weissman, 21, was killed in a West Bank terror attack.Yanai was stabbed in the upper part of his body as he tried to disarm two 14-year-old Palestinians at a Rami Levy supermarket in Sha’ar Binyamin.Yanai, who had been a combat sergeant in the Nahal Brigade, was shopping with his wife and daughter, Netta, when he was killed attempting to stop the terrorists.At the time, Weissman had been married to Yanai for almost two years. She told hundreds of mourners during the funeral service at Jerusalem’s Mount Herzl Military Cemetery of his selfless acts.“We came to the supermarket. We were together. You were worried the whole time about Netta and made sure she stayed close to me,” she said. “Then, in one moment, everything happened.
