A six-month joint operation by the Amakim Police and the Shin Bet culminated in the arrest of twelve Israeli Arabs suspected of weapons trafficking, Israel Radio reported on Sunday.
The twelve - residents of Umm el-Fahm, Nazareth, Zalafa, and Ma'awiya - allegedly sold dozens of assorted types of guns, grenades, as well as hundreds of thousands of bullets to both Israelis and Palestinians.
Four of the suspects have been indicted and remanded until the end of the legal proceedings against them; the rest were served with standard indictments.
