A high-speed car race between three teenage drivers on the Jerusalem-Ma'ale Adumim Road turned deadly Friday, after the 17-year-old driver of one of the vehicles lost control of the car and rammed into the security barrier on the thoroughfare killing an 18-year-old passenger, police said.
The victim of the early-morning car accident was identified as Lior Shriki.
The teenage driver of the car, who was lightly injured in the accident, was arrested by police.
He was remanded in custody for four days by the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court.
