500 soldiers to receive pneumonia innoculations

The IDF will begin inoculating on Tuesday 500 basic trainees from the Tzuki Uvda base who were sent home after an outbreak of pneumonia. The rest of the soldiers at the base will receive antibiotics. Chief Medical Officer Brig.-Gen. Dr. Hezi Levy told reporters on Monday that late Sunday night, the type of bacteria and the strain were positively identified, and added that the bacteria can be treated with most antibiotics.
