Some 5,000 worshippers gathered at the Western Wall on Sunday to pray for the release of kidnapped soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit, 19, from Mitzpeh Hila.
The prayer service was lead by former chief rabbis Avraham Shapira and Mordechai Eliyahu.
