55 wounded in rocket barrages

At least 130 rockets strike Kiryat Shmona, Safed, Rosh Pina, Tiberias, Haifa.

Hizbullah continued to fire rocket barrages at northern Israel on Wednesday afternoon. Rocket impacts were reported in the Tiberias area, Safed, Rosh Pina, and Kiryat Shmona. All the rockets landed in open territory and no one was reported wounded. In all, 55 Israelis were wounded from rocket attacks in some 35 locations in the country's North on Wednesday, Magen David Adom reported. One person was seriously wounded, five moderately and 25 lightly. 24 people were taken to hospital for shock. At least 130 rockets were fired at Israel on Wednesday.
WAR IN THE NORTH: DAY 15
Since fighting broke out 15 days ago, over 1,400 rockets have landed in northern Israel, killing 19 civilians and wounding 1,262, the majority of whom suffered from shock. Forty-six people are still hospitalized. Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, Ma'alot was hit by rockets a mere two hours after a heavy barrage hit the Haifa area, Karmiel, and Acre, wounding 16 people, one seriously. A Kiryat Bialik resident sustained serious wounds when a rocket landed next to his car. MDA crews treated four other people in Kiryat Bialik who were lightly wounded, and a number of people suffering from shock. All of the wounded were evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Also near Haifa, a rocket landed between two houses, causing minor damage. A school was hit as well. Several other cars were also damaged in the rocket attack. In Karmiel, several people were lightly wounded when a rocket hit a home. The structure was damaged by the impact. At least one fire broke out as the result of the rocket explosions. Rockets also landed in open areas in Acre but caused no wounded or damage.
