80-year-old pedestrian seriously injured when hit by car in Gedera

An 80-year-old man was seriously injured Monday morning in a car accident on Route 40 in Gedera.
The elderly man, who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing, was hit by a car and evacuated to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Police and rescue workers hurried to the scene, and were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The driver of the car was taken for questioning.
