Border Police seized nine kilograms of heroin on Friday in Nitzana, next to the Egyptian border.
The soldiers noticed a tractor approaching the border and chased after it. When the driver became aware that he was being pursued, he threw out a bag in which millions of shekels worth of the drug was found.
The IDF did not catch the driver of the tractor who fled the scene.
