IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi has approved the list of soldiers to be honored for outstanding feats in the line of duty during the Second Lebanon War.
100 soldiers will be decorated and 38 of them will have the honor bestowed upon them by Ashkenazi himself. Four of the honorees were killed in the line of battle and will be represented by their families.
