Baby hospitalized with suspected swine flu in Petah Tikva

Another suspected case of swine flu emerged Sunday when a five-month-old baby girl who returned with her parents last week from the US was reported to be suffering from a high temperature at Petah Tikva's Schneider Hospital. There have so far been seven confirmed cases of swine flu in Israel, but five of those who contracted the virus have recovered and were subsequently released from hospital. Meanwhile, the lab set up at Ben Gurion Airport was still operational, and passengers returning from the US and Canada, not just Mexico, were being sent there to undergo tests.
