Interior Minister Roni Bar-On condemned on Tuesday the desecration of Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai's parents' graves.
"Violence of any kind against municipal leaders puts democracy in danger, and has to be fought with the full force of the law," he said.
The graves were vandalized overnight Monday in protest over Huldai's decision to demolish Tel Aviv's historic Ussishkin Stadium, home to the Hapoel Tel Aviv basketball team.
