Barak appoints adviser on settlement affairs

Former Science, Culture, and Sports Ministry Director-General Eitan Broshi was appointed on Sunday as Defense Minister Ehud Barak's adviser on settlement affairs. Broshi, 57, is a former lieutenant colonel in the IDF and was also the adviser to former Agriculture Minister Yaakov Zur. Broshi's job entails handling relations with settlers as well as formulating policy on the expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
