Defense Minister Ehud Barak attended an IDF Armored Corps drill in the Golan on Tuesday and said that the exercise "instills confidence in the might and capabilities of the IDF." Regarding the Gaza situation, Barak said the Israel would not rush into a large-scale operation. "We are not deterred from a Gaza operation, but we are also not rushing into a Gaza operation," he said. "Quiet will be answered with quiet, but if required to, we will act in the place, way and time we see fit. We urge everyone to leave the issue to the professional echelons."
