Barak: IDF carrying out Gaza missions in impressive fashion

Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Saturday praised IDF troops for their performance in Operation Cast Lead against Hamas terrorists in Gaza. "The IDF and security forces are executing missions in an impressive fashion, in order bring about a change in the reality here in the South," he said. Speaking to paratroopers and reserve commanders in the South, the defense minister stressed that it was up to the army to be prepared for all possible outcomes, adding that the operation had "come very close to meeting all targets."
