Close to 20 mortar shells and Kassam rockets rained down on the western Negev on Monday. No one was wounded, but some buildings reportedly sustained damage.
At 5 p.m., the IDF reported that a barrage of mortars was being fired by Palestinian terrorists into the area near the Kissufim Crossing, which before Israel's withdrawal was the main passageway into the Gaza Strip.
