The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court was expected on Monday to extend the remand of a 39-year-old Beersheba resident suspected of breaking into and vandalizing a Bat Yam synagogue.
Overnight Sunday, burglars smashed the synagogue's windows, entered the premises, and stole a box containing a few dozen shekels in charity donations.
