Beilin: Olmert's statement on outposts 'a trick'

Meretz chair Yossi Beilin on Friday called Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's statement that the evacuation of illegal settlement outposts would be conducted following negotiations [with settlers] "a trick." "Olmert knows very well that there's no chance of reaching an agreement with the settlers on dismantling outposts," Beilin said. He added that "Olmert has proved again that he is inconsistent both in his attitude towards the law and his own explicit promises."
