Car hits, kills 25-year-old in Haifa; driver flees scene

A 25-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Saturday morning while she was walking with friends on Bar-Yehuda St. close to the Paz Bridge in Haifa.
A Magen David Adom team that was alerted to the scene was forced to pronounce the girl dead.
The driver of the vehicle fled the area immediately afterwards and police have now asked the public to divulge any information that could help the case. According to witnesses, the car involved was white and was of two-door design.
