The Jerusalem District Court on Sunday canceled an indictment pending against Noam Arnon, spokesman for the Jewish community of Hebron, due to lack of public interest.
Arnon was first indicted five years ago on suspicion of beating police officers. A number of other suspects took a plea bargain, but the legal processes dragged out due to changes in the presiding judges and a reported lack of cooperation by Arnon, Israel Radio said.
