Court rules in favor of prosecution in Katsav case

The High Court of Justice ruled Thursday in favor of the prosecution in the case of former president Moshe Katsav and removed a gag order on an appeal that was made by one of the former president's accusers. Aleph, one of Katsav's accusers, has asked that a plea bargain, signed with the former president, be cancelled. Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz was scheduled by 1 p.m. to respond to four other appeals to the High Court to cancel Katsav's plea bargain.
