Court: State must prove Gaza power cuts don't cause unreasonable damage

The High Court of Justice instructed the state on Wednesday to provide the data on which it has based its assertion that power cuts to the Gaza Strip would not cause unreasonable damage to Gaza residents. The data must be presented within a week, the court ruled. Following this, the petitioners - the Gisha organization and human rights organizations - will be given an additional week to respond to the state's position. The court stated that until that time, the state is to take no action in the matter.
