Defense Ministry to dismantle West Bank Security Fence Administration

The Defense Ministry has decided to dismantle the West Bank Security Fence Administration and place responsibility for building the remaining sections of the fence under the authority of the office responsible for building the new IDF training base in the Negev. Defense officials said that a decision to dismantle the administration was made since more than half of the security fence was already in place and the rest was ready to be built but was pending the obtainment of funding from the government.
