The High Court of Justice ordered Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter on Monday to respond within three days to a petition filed by the watchdog organization Ometz protesting the appointment of Prisons Service Chief Warden Yaakov Ganot in place of Police Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi.
Justice Ayala Procaccia said that until Dichter addressed the Ometz petition, the court would not move to prevent Ganot's appointment.
