The hearing for President Moshe Katsav, who was suspended in January due to allegations of sexual crimes, began on Wednesday morning at the Jerusalem office of Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz.
One of Katsav's attorneys, Avi Lavi, said prior to the hearing that the session would be "dramatic."
