A 19-year-old policewoman was seriously wounded in the eye on Friday when she was attacked by a drunk in Eilat.
The policewoman was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and the suspected attacker was arrested.
Earlier, in Givatayim, a 19-year-old was arrested for stabbing a police detective.
The detective was lightly wounded in the early-morning attack, which occurred when he was conducting a routine check on several people.
