An El Al plane leaving Ben-Gurion International Airport for Zurich Sunday morning had to be evacuated after smoke was noted from the cockpit.
All 128 passengers exited the plane via emergency slides, five of whom were taken to hospitals for treatment.
The source of the smell was being investigated, and passengers were waiting to board another plane.
