Eldad: Apply freedom of expression to Temple Mount

MK Arye Eldad (NU/NRP) on Monday called on Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz to apply the same principles that led him to permit the upcoming Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem - namely, freedom of expression - to the issue of Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount.
Earlier, Mazuz told police that the parade could not be called off due to threats of violence, saying that "surrendering to threats threatens democracy, and thus the police's recommendation not to hold the march is unacceptable."
