Eldad: Olmert committing 'treason against the state' by talking to Syria

"The announcement that came out from the Prime Minister's Office - that Israel is carrying out negotiations with Syria - is the corrupt spin of a man who is well known to police, in an attempt to get the media and the law enforcement system off his back," National Union-National Religious Party MK Arye Eldad said Wednesday. "Olmert is certain that if Sharon was saved from trial by disengagement he too will be saved from being removed from office by treason against the State of Israel, and through offering up the Golan Heights to a person who intended to manufacture nuclear weapons to be used against us and is operating both Hizbullah and Hamas," Eldad continued.
