Electric Company to pay NIS 170,000 to family of boy who was electrocuted

The Tel Aviv Magistrates Court on Tuesday ruled that Israel Electric Company must pay NIS 170,000 reparation to the family of a boy who was electrocuted in Herzliya in 1997. According to the ruling, the Electric Company was guilty of negligence in the case of eight-year-old Yochai Gabai, who was electrocuted after climbing an electricity pole.
