Great Britain's ambassador to Israel Simon McDonald related on Saturday that the European Union was very concerned about a possible escalation in violence in Israel and the Gaza Strip following the continued launching of Kassam rockets.
He told MK Isaac Herzog (Labor), that the European leaders asked the PA to spread security forces at the launch sites in order to stop the rockets.
Herzog urged the ambassador on behalf of Labor to implement active steps to prevent any deterioration in the region, while ensuring that the PA acts against the launching.
