Families of captured troops ask Hadley to wield his influence

The families of kidnapped IDF soldiers Gilad Schalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev met with US National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley in Jerusalem on Thursday. Following the meeting, Karnit Goldwasser, Ehud's wife, told Army Radio that the families viewed the US as a country that had tremendous influence over many others. "The US has the ability to speak to people we cannot speak to and these people have the opportunity of speaking directly or indirectly to (Hizbullah leader Hassan) Nasrallah." "We begged Hadley for his help and I really hope he does what he seemingly intends to do and wields his influence," she continued.
