A father and son were stabbed to death in the Western Galilee village of Kfar Maker on Saturday evening in an attack police say bears the hallmarks of a family feud.
The father, 52-year-old Ibrahim Naboulsi, and his son Mohammad, 22, were found with multiple stab wounds in their apartment.
Ibrahim was pronounced dead at the scene, while Mohammad succumbed to his wounds on the way to Nahariya's Western Galilee Hospital.
Police arrested four suspects, including the father's brother, and said the attack appeared to be part of a protracted dispute over an extension in the two story-building where the families lived.
The brother's son, 18, was taken to hospital with moderate stab wounds after the incident.
Speaking to Israel Radio, Acre Police commander Avi Edri (Dep.-Cmdr) praised the police for their rapid action in cordoning off the apartment and arresting the suspects.
He said that the relationship between the two elder cousins was "very bad," and that only last week, one of the family members was arrested on suspicion of vandalism which was suspected to be part of the running feud.
