First case of swine flu spreading within Israel detected

The first case of swine flu spreading within Israel was detected on Sunday night when a 24-year-old woman was found to have contracted the virus off her 60-year-old father who recently returned from the US but failed to undergo a medical examination.
The woman was hospitalized at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital and was listed in good condition. Her father has already recovered from the virus.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old woman at Jerusalem's Sha'are Tzedek Hospital was diagnosed with the virus on Sunday.
So far, there have been 25 cases of swine flu in Israel.
