Former IDF chief: Olmert going to Annapolis to improve public image

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is going to Annapolis only in order to improve his public image, former IDF chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. (res.) Moshe Ya'alon hinted on Army Radio on Sunday. Police were expected to decide against taking Olmert to court over his suspected attempt to influence the sale of the controlling stock in Bank Leumi, the radio station added. The Bank Leumi affair is one of three investigations currently being conducted against Olmert.
