France will give direct financial aid to the Palestinian Authority, in additional to the funds already pledged by the European Union, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner informed PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in a conversation Thursday.
The two also discussed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and possible ways to give assistance to the population of the Strip via international aid organizations.
