Meretz faction head MK Zehava Gal-On praised Labor Secretary-General Eitan Cabel on his decision to quit the cabinet, and called for the rest of the ministers in the government to follow suit.
Gal-On said the ministers had pushed for the war in Lebanon last summer and were, as such, responsible for its failures.
NU/NRP MK Arye Eldad, meanwhile, said that he hoped there were Kadima and Labor MKs who understood that honesty required them to resign and to force the leaders who made a mess of the situation to let others fix what they ruined.
