The government will meet Sunday to discuss expanding the budget for the medicine basket.
The proposal that ministers will consider asks for an additional NIS 200 million to be added to the medicine basket, which is less than half of the original proposed sum.
In meetings held over the weekend, Health Ministry officials failed to convince Treasury representatives to fulfill all of the Health Ministry's requests with regard to expanding the medicine basket, Israel Radio reported.
