Group calls for probe into 'collaborator's death

A Palestinian rights organization is demanding that an investigation be opened into the death of a Palestinian man detained by Islamic Jihad members in the Gaza on Wednesday, Israel Radio reported. Fadel Duhmush, who was suspected of "collaborating" with Israel, was found dead in a Hamas-controlled prison. Explanations given for the inmate's death have until now conflicted; the jail's manager said that Duhmush had died of a heart attack and respiratory failure and Hamas said that he had committed suicide. The group is calling for a post mortem examination to be carried out on Duhmush's body to determine the circumstances of his death.
