Violet and Haim Habibi, the couple who set of firecrackers in Nazareth's Church of the Annunciation last month to protest the Jerusalem welfare authorities' decision to remove the couple's young children from their custody, have been released to house arrest, Army Radio reported.
The Habibi's unusual method of protest sparked protests in Nazareth and worldwide condemnation.
