Haim Ramon suffers heart attack, taken to hospital

Kadima's Haim Ramon, formerly an MK of the Labor Party, underwent coronary angioplasty at Sheba Medical Center after feeling chest pains on Sunday. He was diagnosed as having had a heart attack.
The balloon-therapy catheterization was used successfully to open a clogged coronary artery. Ramon, who is 56, was said by the hospital to be in "excellent condition" and under observation.
