IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz said Monday during a visit to the family of kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit that the army was doing everything possible to release Gilad, and stressed that the kidnappers bore full responsibility for Shalit's fate.
