Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini is set to announce a labor dispute on Tuesday following the refusal of the Finance Ministry to raise public sector salaries.
Finance Ministry officials told Army Radio that there was "no justification" to further raise the workers' wages.
According to Finance Ministry data, public sector salaries have increased by one-and-a-half percent in the last four years.
