IDF forces arrested a fugitive Islamic Jihad operative late Sunday morning in the village of al-Yamoun north of Jenin. In the course of the operation, the IDF troops were fired upon, but no one was injured and no damage was reported.
A Kalatchnikov rifle was discovered in the operative's home. The weapon was confiscated and the operative was turned in for questioning.
