IDF casualties Tendler, Shalev, Amar laid to rest

Three IDF soldiers who were killed in Lebanon were laid to rest on Thursday after being brought back to Israel by returning soldiers earlier in the day. The soldiers included two who died in the helicopter crash on Saturday, including the craft's pilot Maj. (res.) Nissan Shalev, 36, from Kibbutz Evron and the aerial technician Sgt.-Maj. (res.) Keren Tendler, 26, from Rehovot. The third soldier was Sgt.-Maj. (res.) David Amar from Kiryat Shmona, who was killed when an anti-tank missile struck his vehicle.
