OC Central Command was looking into a claim, made Friday afternoon by the Fatah affiliated Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades, that operatives from the terror group had managed to kidnap an IDF soldier somewhere in the West Bank.
In the meantime, as part of a standard precautionary procedure, Central Command has ordered all units to conduct a roll call to determine the whereabouts of their soldiers.
According to the Martyrs Brigades statement, the soldier was 22-years-old and was kidnapped Wednesday morning.
